For Nina, the accomplished Artistic Director and Owner of The Hair Gallery, hairstyling is an art. “It’s my passion and my life,” says the multi-certified, trendsetting stylist, whose memories of
the salon life reach back well before she earned her industry license at 33. Nina has been working as a stylist since the young age of 12 at her mother's salon. She then became an award-winning hairstylist of her own and is proud to make her clients look and feel good every single day. Nina specializes in creating a luxury experience for her clients and ensuring the salon is up to date with all trends and styles.

“I was around five years old when my aunt had me pull all her grey out of her dark brown hair,” says the veteran stylist, who graduated from the Marvel School in 1966. From that moment, Lucia knew she was going to be a leader in the industry.
Lucia’s professional certifications cover the gamut of the industry. She has been a regular attendee of Redken’s advanced classes for 20 years. She is a Redken Certified Colorist, a certified make-up artist and also has achieved certification in Great Lengths, Hot Heads and Lash Extension.
Having run her own salon for many years, Lucia made the move to The Hair Gallery eight years ago so she could work with her daughter, Artistic Director/Owner Nina.

Lauren
Entry Level Associate
Lauren joined the team in November 2021 with a passion and love of hair and self-expression. She has further tried to push herself to learn the best for her future in hair and always strives to make the best client experience with laugher, love and happiness.

Angelica
Stylist, Level 2
Styling hair has been a long-time interest for Angelica. Being in the fashion industry for 15 years, hairstyling was always to be on-point. Angelica graduated the Hairstyling program with honours at Georgian College and has been a licensed Stylist for 6 years and in the industry for 8 years. She has also completed courses such as Principles of Hair Colour and Next Level Hair Design, to name a few. When she is not doing hair, you can find her singing, painting, or clay sculpting!

My name is Melanie Jean, I am a new stylist who loves making her clients feel beautiful and helping them maintain the health of their hair. I completed the hairstyling program at Georgian college in spring of 2020 and joined the Hair Gallery team in September of 2021. In the salon you can find me with my coffee, singing along to the radio and catching up with my amazing clients!
I am beyond excited to grow in my career and to learn lots along the way. I love trying new styles and techniques, so if you’re looking for a change or to simply maintain what you’ve got, let’s work together to achieve those goals! I am so excited to meet you!

Chelsea joined the team over 2 years ago and has continuously shown her passion and commitment to the hair industry. She is always looking to perfect her craft, which she continues to do through education and her own creativity. Chelsea is always happy, friendly, and attentive toward her guests. She takes pride in making her clients feel beautiful and entertaining them behind the chair!
